Does it fit my MINI Cooper S F56?
Yes, this cover is engineered specifically for the MINI Cooper S F56 and JCW F56 LCI 1 models built from 2018 onwards. It is a direct, bolt on replacement for the factory plastic engine cover, no cutting or modification needed.
Do I need any other parts to fit this cover?
Yes. This cover requires the John Cooper Works badge (BMW part # 51147207930) to complete the installation. If your car does not already have this badge fitted, order it separately before fitting the cover.
What is pre preg carbon fibre and why does it matter?
Pre preg carbon fibre is carbon cloth that is pre impregnated with resin and cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave. It produces a stronger, lighter, and more consistently finished panel than wet layup carbon, which is why CT Carbon uses it for a visible engine bay piece like this one.
Will it survive normal engine bay heat and use?
The cover is designed as a direct replacement for the factory engine cover and sits in the same position, so it is built to cope with normal engine bay conditions in day to day driving.
