Motorsport Helmets

Motorsport Helmets for Supercars and Performance Cars

A racing helmet manages impact energy, resists fire and penetration, and carries the anchor points for a frontal head restraint. It is the one item of driver equipment that almost every organiser checks individually, because helmet approvals are published as lists and those lists change. Track day drivers, circuit racers, rally crews and drag racers all need one, and the right choice depends on the discipline, on whether a head restraint is used and on which standard your series accepts. We supply motorsport helmets and accessories for supercars and performance cars and deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.

What This Collection Covers

  • Full face composite helmets: closed chin bar helmets in carbon and composite shells, the standard choice for circuit and single seater use.
  • Open face helmets: used in rally, historic and some closed car disciplines where the regulations allow them, normally worn with goggles or a visor.
  • FIA rated shells: helmets homologated to FIA standards such as 8859-2015 and 8860-2018, each listed with a homologation number and a published status.
  • Snell rated shells: helmets certified to Snell SA specifications for series that work to Snell rather than FIA approvals.
  • Frontal head restraint fittings: helmets prepared for anchor posts, plus post kits, clips and hardware.
  • Visors, tear-offs and visor hardware: clear, tinted and mirrored visors, tear-off posts and tear-off packs, pivot kits and seals.
  • Communication installation: helmet wiring kits, microphones and speakers designed to fit without altering the shell.
  • Air feed and hydration: forced air inlets, hoses and drink tube fittings for endurance and hot climate use.
  • Bags, liners, cheek pads and care products: replacement interiors in different thicknesses, helmet bags and cleaning kits.

Why It Matters

A helmet is the last line of defence for the part of you that cannot be repaired. The shell spreads a local impact, the liner absorbs energy by crushing, the retention system keeps it on your head and the fire resistant construction buys time. All of that is verified by testing against a specific standard, which is why a motorcycle helmet is not a substitute: helmets certified only to motorcycle specifications are not tested for the fire resistance that car racing standards require, and they usually have no head restraint anchors.

Approvals also have a life. The FIA publishes technical lists of homologated helmets and those approvals are withdrawn on stated dates, and Snell certifications are superseded on a regular cycle. A helmet in perfect condition can still be rejected at scrutineering because its approval has been withdrawn, so the label and the current list matter as much as the condition. Replace any helmet after a significant impact, even one that looks undamaged, because the liner crushes once.

How to Choose the Right Motorsport Helmet

Start with what your series accepts. Some organisers require a current FIA homologation, some accept Snell SA certification, some accept either, and some have their own additional requirements for closed car or open cockpit use. Check the current regulations for every event you plan to enter and check the current FIA or Snell listing for the specific helmet before you buy, because a helmet that is accepted this season may not be next season. Also confirm whether your series requires the helmet to be prepared for a frontal head restraint.

Then fit it properly. A helmet should be firm on the cheeks and forehead with no movement when you shake your head, and cheek pads can be changed to fine tune it. Consider the cockpit too, because some supercars have limited headroom and roll cage clearance can rule out a taller shell. Tell us your head circumference, the discipline, the standard your series requires and whether you run a head restraint. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry and we will confirm the options. We check the homologation label and date on every helmet before it ships, and we will not state that a helmet is approved for your series, because only your regulations and scrutineer can confirm that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which helmet size do I need?
Measure the circumference of your head about two centimetres above your eyebrows and send us that figure along with the discipline you compete in. Sizing differs between manufacturers, so we will match you to the correct chart and advise on cheek pad thickness.

Do you ship helmets to India and worldwide?
Yes. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide. Helmets ship in protective packaging and we confirm the cost and transit time before payment.

Are helmets in stock or ordered in?
Both. Popular sizes and plain finishes are frequently held, while specific colours, sizes and custom paint are sourced to order with a lead time confirmed first.

Do racing helmets expire?
Approvals do. FIA homologations are published with withdrawal dates and Snell certifications are superseded on a regular cycle, so check your series regulations and the current homologation status before ordering. Replace any helmet that has taken a significant impact regardless of its approval date.

The helmet I want is not listed here.
Ask us for it. send us an inquiry with the helmet type, the size, the standard your series requires and whether you need head restraint posts, and we will source it and confirm price and lead time.

Cannot see the helmet or helmet accessory you want on this page? We can source almost any motorsport helmet product you need. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with the item and the discipline or car it is for, and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
