Window Nets for Supercars and Performance Cars
A window net covers the driver's side window opening and stops arms, hands and the head leaving the car in an accident, while still allowing a fast exit. It works with the cage, seat and harness as part of the containment package, and on many circuit and oval cars it is a mandatory item that a marshal must be able to release from outside the car. Nets covered by an FIA or SFI standard carry a label with a homologation number and an expiry date, and mounting is specified as tightly as the net itself. We supply window nets and mounting hardware for supercars and performance cars and deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.
What This Collection Covers
- Homologated window nets: nets built to a recognised FIA standard, labelled with a homologation number and an expiry date, including nets to FIA 8863-2013.
- SFI rated nets: nets carrying an SFI specification for series that work to SFI rules.
- Mesh nets: woven mesh panels, the usual choice for closed circuit cars.
- Ribbon nets: horizontal ribbon construction used where visibility or rulebook preference calls for it.
- Sizes and shapes: rectangular and shaped panels to suit different door openings and cage geometry.
- Mounting kits: top and bottom rails, tubes, brackets and clamps to fix the net to the cage.
- Quick release latches: lever and pin latches that a marshal can release from outside the car.
- Spares and hardware: replacement latches, rails, bolts and net tensioners.
Why It Matters
The net exists for two failure modes that a harness cannot cover. In a rollover or a heavy impact, arms and hands move outside the window line and get injured against the ground or another car, and in a side impact the head can move further sideways than the seat can support. A net keeps everything inside the door line while remaining releasable in seconds, which is why the latch design and the release direction are part of the regulation rather than a detail.
Fitting is what makes it work. A net has to be tensioned so it does not bow outward, mounted to structure that will not deform, and releasable from outside without tools. A loose net or one mounted to trim rather than to the cage gives the appearance of protection without the function, and scrutineers check for exactly that.
How to Choose the Right Window Net
Check the regulations first. Series rules will tell you whether a net is required, whether it must carry an FIA or SFI label, whether the label must be in date, the minimum size relative to the window opening, which side or sides need covering and how the release must operate. These requirements differ between circuit, rally, oval and drag disciplines and are revised regularly, so confirm the current edition of your rulebook and the current homologation date on any net you are considering before you order.
Then measure. Take the width and height of the door opening inside the cage and note where the cage tubes run, because the mounting rails have to land on tube, not on the door or the trim. Tell us the car, the year and the exact variant, the cage layout and the series you are entering. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry and we will confirm the size and the mounting kit. We check the standard and the date printed on every labelled net before it ships, and we leave eligibility for your series to your rulebook and your scrutineer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will a net fit my car?
It depends on the door opening and the cage, not just the model. Send us the car, the year and the exact variant, the internal width and height of the opening and a photo of the cage in that area, and we will confirm the net size and mounting kit.
Do you ship to India and worldwide?
Yes. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide, and we confirm shipping cost and transit time before payment.
Are nets in stock or sourced to order?
Standard sizes and latch hardware are frequently held. Less common sizes and rated nets are sourced to order, with the lead time confirmed before you pay.
Do window nets expire?
Labelled nets do. FIA and SFI nets carry a homologation number and an expiry date, and many series require the net to be in date. Check your series regulations and the date on the label before ordering, and replace any net with sun damaged, cut or frayed webbing regardless of the date.
The net or latch I need is not shown.
Ask us for it. send us an inquiry with the size, the standard required and the car it is for, and we will source it and confirm price and lead time.
Cannot see the right net or mounting kit on this page? We can source almost any window net component for your car. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with the part and the car it is for, and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
