Wideband Controllers

Wideband Controllers for Supercars and Performance Cars

A wideband controller reads the oxygen content in the exhaust through a wideband sensor and converts it into an accurate air fuel ratio reading across a wide range, unlike a factory narrowband sensor which is only precise around one point. That reading is what tells a tuner whether an engine is running rich or lean at a given load and speed, and what tells a driver something has changed since the car was last mapped. This collection covers wideband controllers, gauges, sensors and the fittings and cabling around them, for road cars, modified cars and track cars. We supply the measuring hardware only; interpretation and any mapping work is done by your tuner. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.

What This Collection Covers

  • Wideband Controllers: standalone control units that drive and heat the sensor and output a calibrated air fuel ratio signal.
  • Wideband Gauges: gauge style units with the controller built in, showing air fuel ratio directly on the dash.
  • Analogue and CAN Output Units: controllers that send their reading to an engine management system, dash display or data logger for recording.
  • Wideband Oxygen Sensors: replacement sensors for controllers already fitted, since these are consumable items with a service life.
  • Weld-in Bungs and Plugs: sensor bungs for welding into the exhaust, with blanking plugs and caps for when the sensor is removed.
  • Sensor Cables and Extensions: sensor leads, extension harnesses and connectors for routing between sensor, controller and display.
  • Portable and Handheld Units: units intended for temporary fitment during tuning or diagnosis rather than permanent installation.
  • Mounting Hardware: brackets, pods and panel mounts for the gauge or controller.

Why It Matters

Air fuel ratio is the single most useful indicator of whether a modified engine is safe under load. An engine running leaner than intended at high load is under thermal stress that shows up as damage long before it shows up as a noise, and one running very rich wastes fuel and washes oil off the bores. On a car that has had injectors, a fuel pump, a turbocharger or an intake changed, a wideband reading is how you confirm the fuel system is keeping up. It is also the reading that lets a workshop spot a failing pump, a blocked filter or a boost leak quickly, because the trace moves in a way a pressure gauge alone would not reveal.

How to Choose the Right Wideband Controller

Decide whether you want the reading on the dash, in the logs, or both. A gauge style unit with the controller built in is the simplest way to get a live display, while a separate controller with an analogue or CAN output is the right choice if the reading needs to reach an engine management system or a data logger. If you are only diagnosing a problem, a portable unit may be enough. Plan the sensor position too, since the sensor needs to sit far enough down the exhaust to avoid the worst of the heat but close enough to read properly, and most installs need a bung welded in. Exhaust layouts are car specific, so tell us the model, the year, the variant and what the reading needs to connect to. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry and we will specify the controller, the sensor and the fittings together. We supply hardware only and do not carry out tuning.

Shipping and Availability

We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide. Sensors, bungs and cabling are often in ready stock, while complete controller and gauge kits may be sourced to order, with lead times confirmed before payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a wideband kit fit my car?
The hardware is largely universal, but the sensor location and bung fitting depend on the exhaust. Send the model, the year, the variant and details of the exhaust system and we will advise on placement and parts.

Do you deliver worldwide?
Yes. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide, with tracked shipping on every order.

Are these kits in ready stock?
Sensors and small fittings usually are. Complete kits are sometimes sourced to order, and we confirm the lead time with you before payment.

Are the sensors and controllers genuine?
Yes. We supply genuine controllers and sensors from established manufacturers, since accuracy depends entirely on the sensor and its calibration being what they claim to be.

What if I need a specific controller or sensor that is not listed?
Please send us an inquiry with the car, the setup and the part number if you have it, and we will source it and confirm the lead time.

Cannot see the wideband controller, sensor or fitting you need? We can source almost any air fuel monitoring part for your car. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with the part and the car it is for, and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
