Driveshafts and Axles for Supercars and Performance Cars
Driveshafts and axles are the last link in the drivetrain, taking drive from the gearbox or the differential out to the wheels while the suspension moves and the wheels steer. That means they have to transmit everything the engine makes and cope with constantly changing angles, which is the job of the constant velocity joints at each end. On a rear or mid engined supercar the shafts are short and heavily loaded. On a four wheel drive car a propshaft also runs the length of the car to feed the other axle. These parts are replaced when a joint wears, when a boot splits and lets grit into the grease, or when a build has outgrown the original shafts. We supply driveshafts, axles and joint hardware for supercars and performance cars, and we deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.
What This Collection Covers
- Complete driveshaft assemblies: ready to fit shafts with joints and boots assembled, in original specification and uprated forms.
- Propshafts: shafts that run drive along the car on four wheel drive and front engined layouts, including lightweight and composite designs.
- CV joints: outer and inner constant velocity joints and tripod joints, sold individually for repair.
- Boot kits and grease: replacement boots, clamps and the correct joint grease, which is the usual first repair when a joint starts to complain.
- Uprated and race shafts: higher strength shafts for cars making substantially more torque or launching repeatedly.
- Centre bearings and carriers: propshaft support bearings, carriers and their rubber mounts.
- Flanges, couplings and bolts: drive flanges, flexible couplings, circlips and the single use bolts used to fit the shafts.
Why It Matters
Shafts and joints are one of the few drivetrain areas where a small, cheap failure turns into a large one very quickly. A split boot throws grease out and lets grit in, and a joint that has been running dry will click on lock, vibrate under power, and eventually fail. A worn propshaft centre bearing sets up a vibration through the floor that gets blamed on tyres and wheels for months. On a car that has been tuned, the original shafts can become the weak point, because they were sized for the torque the car left the factory with, and repeated hard launches are exactly the load case that finds their limit. Sorting this area out removes vibration, restores clean power delivery, and stops a failure that can damage a gearbox or a hub carrier on the way out.
How to Choose the Right Driveshaft or Axle
First work out whether you are repairing or upgrading. A clicking joint on an otherwise healthy shaft is often a joint and boot kit, not a whole assembly. A shaft with play, a bent tube or a corroded spline should be replaced complete. For a road car or grand tourer, original specification parts are the right answer, since they are engineered for the geometry and refinement of the car. For a track car or a tuned car that launches hard, uprated shafts with stronger joints are worth specifying before something breaks. Race builds may also want lightweight shafts to reduce unsprung and rotating mass. Shaft length, spline count and joint type are all car specific, and left and right sides often differ, so tell us the car, the year, the exact variant, which side you need and any engine work already done. Frequently Asked Questions
Which cars do these driveshafts fit?
They are car specific, and often side specific. Send us the make, model, year, variant and whether you need the left or right shaft, and we will confirm the correct part.
Do you deliver to Dubai, India and worldwide?
Yes. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide, with tracked shipping. Longer shafts and propshafts are quoted with freight included.
Are these in stock or sourced to order?
Joints, boots and hardware are frequently in ready stock. Complete and uprated shafts are usually sourced to order with a confirmed lead time.
Are these genuine parts?
Yes. We supply genuine parts from established manufacturers, both original equipment quality shafts and joints and recognised performance driveline specialists.
What if my shaft is not listed?
The page does not show everything we can get. Send us an inquiry with the car and the side you need and we will source it.
Not seeing the shaft or joint you need on this page? We can source almost any driveshaft or axle part for your car. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with the part and the car it is for, and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
