Clutch Kits for Supercars and Performance Cars
A clutch kit supplies the parts that transmit drive from the engine to the gearbox as a matched set, so the friction and clamping components are replaced together and bed in as they should. On a manual car that usually means a disc, a cover assembly and the release hardware. On an automated single clutch car it is the same basic hardware with hydraulic actuation. On a dual clutch car it is a complete clutch pack assembly holding two sets of friction plates, replaced as a service unit. Clutch replacement is one of the jobs that comes round on any hard driven supercar, and it is also the first upgrade when a car is making more torque than it left the factory with. We supply clutch kits for supercars and performance cars, for road cars, track day cars and race builds, and we deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.
What This Collection Covers
- Single plate clutch kits: the standard replacement format for most manual road cars, in original specification and uprated clamp versions.
- Twin and triple plate clutch kits: multi plate assemblies that raise torque capacity and cut rotating weight, used on high output and track focused builds.
- Dual clutch service kits: complete clutch pack assemblies for dual clutch gearboxes, supplied as the service unit for wet or dry pack designs.
- Automated manual clutch kits: kits for single clutch automated gearboxes, where the clutch is conventional but the actuation is hydraulic.
- Organic and sprung hub kits: road friendly friction materials with sprung centres for smooth take up and quiet running.
- Sintered and race friction kits: high temperature friction materials for repeated hard launches and track use, with sharper engagement.
- Kits with flywheel included: clutch and flywheel supplied together where the friction face or the flywheel design is being changed at the same time.
- Fitting hardware: bolts, dowels, alignment tools and release components supplied with or alongside the kit.
Why Upgrade Your Clutch
A clutch that is past its best announces itself. It slips in the upper gears when you load the car, the biting point creeps up towards the top of the pedal, and on a dual clutch car the shifts start to feel soft or the take up judders in traffic. Replacing as a matched kit avoids the classic mistake of fitting a new disc against a worn cover or a glazed flywheel face, which shortens the life of the new part. Beyond simple replacement, an uprated kit gives you clamping capacity to hold the torque a tuned engine makes, and a multi plate kit reduces rotating mass so the engine picks up and drops revs more freely. The trade is real and worth knowing: harder friction materials and higher clamp loads mean a heavier pedal and a more abrupt take up, which is fine on a track car and tiresome in traffic.
How to Choose the Right Clutch Kit
Match the kit to the gearbox first. Manual, automated single clutch and dual clutch cars are not interchangeable, and dual clutch packs are specific to the gearbox family. Then choose by use. A road car or grand tourer is best on an organic sprung hub kit or the original specification service kit, because driveability matters more than headline capacity. A car doing regular track days benefits from an uprated single plate or a twin plate with better heat tolerance. A race build with a lot of extra torque is where triple plate and sintered friction materials earn their keep. Supercar clutches are car specific, so tell us the car, the year, the exact variant and the gearbox type, plus any engine work already done.
