Clutch Covers

Clutch Covers and Pressure Plates for Supercars and Performance Cars

The clutch cover, also called the pressure plate, is the part that bolts to the flywheel and squeezes the friction disc against it. Its diaphragm spring sets the clamp load, which decides how much torque the clutch can hold before it slips, and it is also what the release bearing pushes on when you press the pedal or when a hydraulic actuator disengages the clutch. On multi plate assemblies the cover carries the whole stack. Covers are usually replaced with the disc rather than on their own, because a tired diaphragm loses clamp load quietly and will let a brand new disc slip. We supply clutch covers and pressure plate assemblies for supercars and performance cars, for road, track and race use, and we deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.

What This Collection Covers

  • Original specification cover assemblies: direct replacement pressure plates matched to the standard disc and flywheel, for straight service work.
  • Uprated clamp load covers: stiffer diaphragms that hold more torque on tuned engines, with a correspondingly heavier pedal on manual cars.
  • Twin and triple plate covers: multi plate cover assemblies complete with intermediate plates, straps and drive lugs.
  • Lightweight and billet covers: machined covers that cut rotating mass on race and track focused assemblies.
  • Pull type and push type covers: assemblies matched to how the gearbox releases the clutch, since the two are not interchangeable.
  • Diaphragm springs and cover rebuild parts: individual springs, straps and rivets for rebuilding a serviceable cover assembly.
  • Cover bolts and alignment hardware: the correct bolts, dowels and alignment tools needed to fit the cover square to the flywheel.

Why It Matters

Clamp load is the quiet half of clutch capacity. Everyone talks about friction material, but if the diaphragm has lost its tension the clutch will slip no matter how good the disc is. A weak or heat damaged cover shows up as slip in the higher gears under load, a biting point that has moved, or a shudder as the car pulls away. Fitting a fresh cover with the disc restores the clamp the assembly was designed around and lets both parts bed in together. Going up in clamp load is the sensible route when an engine has been tuned and the standard clutch is at its limit, but it is not free: a stiffer diaphragm means a heavier pedal on a manual car, and it puts more load through the release mechanism, so the release bearing and slave hardware want checking at the same time.

How to Choose the Right Clutch Cover

First confirm the release type and the assembly format, because a cover has to match the gearbox and the disc it works with, and pull type and push type designs cannot be swapped. Then choose by use. A road car or grand tourer is happiest on a standard clamp cover, which keeps the pedal usable and the take up smooth. A track day car benefits from a modest step up in clamp load to survive repeated hard use without slipping when hot. A race build running a twin or triple plate assembly buys the cover as part of that assembly, not as a standalone. If the engine has been tuned, tell us what has been done, because the clamp requirement follows the torque rather than the model. Fitment is car specific, so send us the car, the year, the exact variant and the gearbox type. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry and we will confirm the correct cover.

Shipping and Availability

We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide. Standard replacement covers are often in ready stock, while uprated and multi plate assemblies are usually sourced to order because they are built to a specification. We confirm the lead time with you before payment is taken.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which cars do these clutch covers fit?
Covers are specific to the clutch assembly and gearbox. Send us the make, model, year, variant and gearbox type and we will confirm the correct diameter and release type.

Do you ship beyond the UAE?
Yes. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide, with tracked shipping.

Are covers held in stock?
Some are. Uprated, lightweight and multi plate cover assemblies are normally sourced to order with a lead time confirmed before payment.

Are these genuine parts?
Yes. We supply genuine parts from established manufacturers, including original equipment quality replacements and recognised performance clutch specialists.

Should I replace the disc at the same time?
In almost every case yes, and the flywheel face should be checked too, so the assembly beds in as a set rather than a new part working against a worn one.

If the cover you need is not on this page, we can still find it. We can source almost any clutch cover or pressure plate for your car. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with the part and the car it is for, and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
