Adapters

Adapters and Unions for Supercars and Performance Cars

Adapters are the translators of a fluid system. Engines, pumps, filters, coolers and regulators arrive with whatever thread their maker chose, and an adapter is what lets you connect them to a line built in a different standard or a different size. This collection covers thread and size adapters, unions, reducers, angled fittings, bulkheads and banjo hardware for supercars and performance cars, used in oil, fuel, coolant and boost systems on road and track builds. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide.

What This Collection Covers

  • AN to NPT Adapters: the most common conversion in performance plumbing, joining a flared AN line to a tapered pipe thread on a component.
  • Metric and BSP Adapters: adapters between AN and metric or BSP threads, which is what most factory components on European and Japanese cars use.
  • Unions and Couplers: male to male, female to female and male to female unions for joining two lines or extending a run.
  • Reducers and Expanders: adapters that step a line up or down a size where a component port and the line do not match.
  • Angled Adapters: 45, 90 and other angled fittings, in fixed and swivel forms, for keeping hose bends gentle in tight spaces.
  • Bulkhead Adapters: fittings with a nut and seal for passing a line through a panel or firewall cleanly and securely.
  • Banjo Adapters and Bolts: banjo fittings, bolts and their sealing washers for components that use a banjo connection.
  • Port and Component Adapters: adapters for filter heads, pumps, regulators and coolers where the port thread differs from the rest of the system.
  • Sealing Washers and O-rings: the seals that go with the above, sized to the fitting and the fluid.

Why It Matters

Most fluid leaks on a built car happen at an adapter, and almost always for one of two reasons: the wrong sealing method for the thread, or a thread that looks close enough but is not the same standard. A tapered thread seals on the thread itself and needs the correct sealant, while an AN flare or an O-ring boss seals on a face or a seal and must not be over-tightened. Choosing correctly means a joint that seals first time and can be taken apart at the next service. Angled and swivel adapters do something else important: they let hose leave a component in the right direction, which avoids the tight bends that shorten hose life and restrict flow.

How to Choose the Right Adapters

Start by identifying exactly what thread is on the component, not what you assume it is, since metric and AN sizes can measure very close to each other. Then decide what the line side needs to be, sized for the flow the system requires. Choose straight or angled based on the space and the hose routing, and remember that every extra join is another potential leak, so the shortest chain of adapters is usually the best one. Match the sealing washers and O-rings to the fitting and the fluid. If you are working on a factory component, tell us the exact car, the year and the variant, and send a photograph of the port if you can. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with that and we will confirm the adapters you need before you order.

Shipping and Availability

We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide. Common sizes and conversions are usually in ready stock and ship quickly, while unusual thread combinations, finishes and specific part numbers are sourced to order with a confirmed lead time before payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I identify the thread on my car's component?
Send us the model, the year and the variant, plus a photograph of the port and a measurement across the threads if possible. We can normally identify it and specify the correct adapter from that.

Do you deliver outside the UAE?
Yes. We deliver across Dubai and the UAE, to India, and worldwide, and adapters can be combined into one shipment with the rest of your order.

Are adapters in stock?
Common sizes generally are. Unusual conversions and finishes are sourced to order, and we confirm the lead time before payment.

Are the adapters genuine?
Yes. We supply genuine adapters from established manufacturers, machined to the correct thread and flare tolerances, rather than unbranded parts that damage mating threads.

The exact adapter I need is not listed, can you get it?
Almost certainly. Just send us an inquiry with the two threads you are joining and the fluid involved and we will source the right part.

Not seeing the adapter or union you need above? We can source almost any adapter or fitting for your car. WhatsApp us on +971 50 308 5760 or send us an inquiry with the part and the car it is for, and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
